The Edge Cafe

The Edge Cafe is the full service dining facility for The Tradition at Northgate. For the last 11 years, The Edge Cafe has been proud to offer home-style specialties that include favorites such as biscuits and gravy, homemade lasagna, and fresh soups. The Cafe also works to provide modern classics such as stone oven cooked pizzas, hand cut meats and locally sourced fruits and vegetables.

The Edge Cafe has also hosted many special guest including Chef Tai from The Food Network's "The Great Food Truck Race" and Chef Paul Patranella and Bill Allen from The History Channel's "Hairy Bikers".

Executive Chef Rich Risbon enjoys using The Edge Cafe as a way to introduce students to new taste and new ideas in food as they step into a new chapter of their lives.

  • Executive Chef at Lake Creek Lodge and Alaskan Wilderness Outfitting Co
  • Executive Chef at Messina Hof Winery in Bryan TX
  • Executive Chef at The Edge CafĂ© since January 2002
  • Owner of Hullabaloo Diner in Wellborn TX. Hullabaloo Diner was featured on Food Networks Diners Drive-Ins & Dives and has since been featured in several local and national publications
